Disclaimer: I own nothing. I wish I did, but I don't.
Summary: Dean and Cas share a moment and Bobby aquires some blackmail matierial (which he wastes no time in using).
Notes: This was for the Quickfire Challenge: warm and fuzzy on the deancastiel community.

Bobby wasn't sure what had happened, but since Dean had brought Sam back, he didn't much care.

Well, that was before he found out that Sam set Lucifer free.

Yeah that didn't go over so well.

Dean could hear the yelling going on upstairs from his seat in the panic room.

Bobby sure worked quickly, that or he channeled his energy in some very Betty-Crocker Homemaker ways, because the panic room was almost back to normal now. Hell, Bobby had even installed a TV, and how he got the damn thing to work in a room encased in iron, Dean had no idea, but right now he was just damn grateful.

"What are we going to do tonight, Brain?"

"The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world!"

Dean turned up the volume as the theme song started up. He would deal with Sam and Bobby a little later.
Right now?

Dean just wanted to take a goddamn break. He was camped out on an old cot that Bobby brought down after throwing the one that Sam had used to detox on out. Dean didn't think that Bobby would have just gotten rid of it, but he didn't want to assume. (What Dean didn't know was that Bobby had burned the mattress and was seriously considering finding a way to crush the frame. Hell if he was gonna keep something that one of his boys had used to detox from demon blood.)

Just as the theme song was winding down Dean heard the sound that he had been desperately waiting for since he had been sent away from a ramshackle house to stop his brother from breaking the last seal. Muffled wing beats filled the room, the TV now oddly muted.

"Dean."

Castiel was standing right in front of the TV set and he looked terrible.

There wasn't a mark on him, but that wrecked look on his face? Dean never wanted to see it again.

"Cas, what happened? Are you okay?"

Castiel didn't answer for a moment, but then, "Apparently not all of the heavenly host was in favor of the apocalypse. We have been given asylum." Castiel murmured, his voice shaky and quiet.

"Cas, isn't that a good thing? You're back and you didn't get sent back to bible camp. Why are you acting like this is worse?"

Dean didn't understand.

"I don't want... I remember the last time Heaven went to war with itself, and I..."

"Oh Cas." Dean didn't know what else to say, but he did know what to do. He remembered what it felt like to be scared for his family, and he remembered one of the things that helped.

Dean stood up and moved towards Castiel. Before the angel could ask what he was doing Dean had pulled him into a tight hug. Castiel stood stock still, not knowing how to act. It wasn't everyday that someone hugged an angel of the lord after all.

"Relax Cas, It's just a hug." Dean murmured, his face pressed into Castiels neck and the words whispering against his ear.

Moments later Castiel had relaxed into the hug and pressed himself close to Dean, it was like he was trying to mold himself against Dean so that an outside observer wouldn't know when one of them began and the other ended.

Dean was murmuring wordless comfort into his ear and even though Castiel knew that Dean wasn't going to be able to stop the coming war in heaven. Having Dean promise to stay with Castiel was more than enough to calm the angel down.

Two hours later once Sam had admitted that he was very, very wrong and that Bobby was always right, (Sam may have admitted that yes, he was an idjit in regards to Dean and as trusting as a very small child when it came to demons, but it's not like he was ever going to tell anybody.) Bobby left Sam in the kitchen to check on his other boy.

When Bobby opened the panic room door he was unprepared to see Dean lying on the cot holding an Angel of the Mother Fucking Lord! ™ in a half-hug, with the angel half sprawled on Dean's chest, while the idjit watched re-runs of "Pinky and the Brain." (Bobby knew that Jo had sent the right gifts over after he told her that Dean had gotten out of hell. Jo's idea of comfort was a gift basket full of cartoon DVD's, candy and a pair of pink plaid P.J.'s. Dean bitched and moaned about the Pajamas but Bobby did notice that when Sam wasn't around Dean wore them every so often.)

Dean was still dressed in his clothes from earlier, but Bobby noticed that he had gotten the angel into the pajamas that Jo had sent over.

Bobby thought this situation over and came to some very important conclusions.

1. He was unlikely to see Dean and that angel in this sort of position again. (And how Bobby was wrong, so very, very wrong about this.)

2. Dean had really a quite peaceful expression on his face.

3. How many times was Bobby ever going to see an Angel in pink pajamas sprawling all over Dean Winchester? (...Two weeks later Bobby revises this opinion and sends off a certain picture to all the hunters he knows as Dean's punishment for making him see something no grown man should have to see. Ever!)

4. Dean was asleep and Bobby would be able to hide behind Sam after Dean woke up. (Bobby was pretty sure Castiel wouldn't interfere.)

5. Bobby didn't have nearly enough pictures of Dean.

So while Dean was still sleeping Bobby found his old Polaroid camera and snapped a picture.

"Bobby, what the hell!"
